Text Box: Welcome to the website dedicated to the video game classes of UCSB.  Now there are two classes in the film department that focus on video games:  150VG (last offered winter 2008) and the new seminar 187VG (currently offered).  Now that I have projects from 150VG and there is another VG class, I’ll get be putting up some new articles.

New page entitled, “Interesting Links” where links to small, interesting articles will be posted.  1st up to bat are about army recruitment, a Dubai based game developer, and an SAT prep game.—1/17/09
Two new projects up.  A video about the action genre and a paper about music in games + samples.—1/10/09
Three projects added so far, all of them quality.—4/15/08
New Section:  Projects, but I need you’re help filling it up.—3/5/08

ATTENTION ALL FM150VG STUDENTS

 

If you would like to contribute a project, I suggest you also write a little something explaining your project.  Anything from a few lines to go under the video to the paper counterpart that you turned in with your project is fine.

 

You are also welcome to contribute by writing a short article for the website.
